Biking Taiwan: Linkou-林口 北77-1 down, 106 up

by Michael Cannon on June 24, 2009 in Biking

Looking west over 北77-1 After yesterday’s long ride, I figured I’d take an easy this morning and drop down 106 to see if I could find a microfiber towel that I misplaced recently. No luck with the towel, but I did get a better look at a local public works projects in the “middle of nowhere” on 北77-1.

Riding down 北77-1 was pretty quick, once I got onto the correct entry rode from the top, in Linkou-林口. The ride up 106 was very casual with granny gears and an 80 cadence.

Overall, this was a nice quick, easy ride. Just what I needed and yet, it took me over 100 kilometers of riding for the past two days.
