I must be doing something right to keep them smiling The weather was kind enough to let me ride to school at Furen Catholic University Monday to Thursday for Chinese lessons. Wednesday was a tad longer as I rode near Taipei Arena to barely survive Ashtanga yoga.

This is one of the easier Ashtanga moves

An easier move

On Thursday, I smarted up and rode the bus back into Taipei for Hatta yoga and meeting up with friend and editor Jeremy of the Foreign Policy Journal in the evening.

Sunday morning was especially nice as I took Peichi and Weiqi biking along Taipei county road 77 into a valley and back up a moderate 150 meter hills without too many complaints.

Afterwards, they paid me back by giving me a heart attack through donning bikinis and joining me for a spa to soothe sore muscles.

And so… once I again, I must protest the offers of assistance, my life in Taiwan is quite rough and I wish it upon no other. I alone, shall carry the burdens.
