Happy 2010 Everybody!

John finally came up from down south, Kaohsiung south, for New Years. While there was the typical, let’s just relax we turned a boring Saturday afternoon into a bus trip trip to Jiaosi-礁溪 for dinner, beer, rice balls, ice, cow’s tongue and sleep.

Sunday morning, we took the train to Fulong-福隆 where we wondered around enough to know we should come back when warmer and drier. Before getting onto the train, we grabbed a couple of famous Fulong lunch boxes. Those boxes were stuffed and tasty.

I love Taiwan for its ease of traveling around overnight with a bare moments notice for great food and new adventures.

Thank you John for visiting.
