Life in Taiwan: Week of May 10, 2010

Riding Bali with Michael Turton Ah, another week and the biking kilometers pass 200. This week finds me cutting school to go riding with Michael Turton along the Danshui bike paths.

Additionally, I manned up and rode a tough 140 kilometers and 2,200 meters of climbing with Nathan, Clar, Roger and Scott along the north coast and Yangming mountains.

I should mention, those guys are strong road riders. To talk about humbling,  I’m often considered a strong rider, but I was always a ways back with these guys. Still, I had fun and would do this again after checking with a shrink to ensure my sanity.

As a bonus, here’s a couple of routes for quickly getting from Linkou-林口 to Hongshulin-紅樹林 MRT.
