There was a ride to Yongan Harbor

by Michael Cannon on May 30, 2009 in Biking,Poetry

There was a ride to Yongan Harbor.
Four riders went,
1 dropped back for work,
3 carried on.
2 were too slow,
so, 1 went on to wait.
Arrive in time for lunch,
they all did.
On the way back,
the wind was a pain a head.
Up 3 kilometers of long, slow hills
stopped the wind,
but of course
gravity gave it’s own toll.
At the top, quite weary,
they all rode as champions
to home of Linkou Giant.
