TYPO3 is of the community

by Michael Cannon on September 23, 2009 in Poetry

TYPO3 is of the community
and for the community.
Together we succeed,
apart we fail.
With another year comes,
us together in Frankfurt
to join and raise a glass
for a cheer.
To new friends,
new sites
and new techniques.
At the close,
we go a little sad,
a bit tired,

to a brighter future
of more friends

Many people came

by Michael Cannon on June 9, 2009 in Poetry

57 to go

Last night

by Michael Cannon on June 7, 2009 in Poetry

Last night,
Even though dim out,
In,
it was a sight to behold.
Family, friends
all together
ate and drank.
Raising a toast
to the couple of the honor.
To another 10,
another 10.

The evening drink

A grilled platter
of shrimp, chicken,
beef and pork
sufficed to fill our
palates enough.
Wander home, in a place
not our own. With
dreams it is where
we’re meant to be.

I enjoyed a week of snowboarding Crap Sogn Gion at T3BOARD09 with about 150 fellow TYPO3 and snow enthusiasts. We were at about 2,200 meters with plenty of snow, storms and slopes.
When not on the slopes, plenty of laptops, beer, dice, videos and cameras were out in force during the evenings.
I even wrote a little [...]
