I took a long ride today. Up one hill, past a tunnel level. Why was it so hard to go up? As coming down was so easy. Without going up though, I wouldn’t have known how far I could go. – 6/7/2009 – Just rode 73 kilometers from Hualien to Shihtiping.

There Again

There again the time has come to reflect upon the life we’ve lead. Not always in brightness have we moved. Though trouble encountered, there’s a future ahead. Make amends and live a better. By God’s grace, he smiles upon the thanks.

A caterpillar moved along the stem wearily, with much effort it nibbled upon the lowest leaf. It could could barely look ahead. Elsewhere, a butterfly settled upon a flower above. While cleaning its legs, it looked up. The sky was blue and clear.
