I whine
more of a muffle
since it’s kept inside
I want more out of life
and there’s too much of me
holding back
To move forward
maybe letting go
should take place first
As they say
no risk
no reward
An anchor is only good
if you want to stay

Something tasty found on a shelf. A bag, slender only so, so tall. Crunchy, crispy, little bits drop as contents consumed without remorse. Maybe a little regret for what might’ve been. We should be else where facing ourselves down than here stuffing without content.

Arrive for a moment of consideration that life is fated to what will be.

Switchbacks give a chance to review
A path being taken to a difficult place
For wonder is why there was chosen
When so many ways are easier
By taking a softer path
To live a life so so
And you desire no more
That’s fine for lesser mortals
For the us rest
We’ll enjoy the beauty of the challenge
Without bickering to tarnish the results

Waiting for the bus
brings question of,
what’s next?
On the way
you go
to where
you think
you should be,
the question to ask,
is it really time
to be there?
